PONSETI METHOD:

* FREE SERIAL CASTING 

~~~ Plaster of Paris and wadding sheet are provided for FREE
~~~  Gentle manipulation with casting is performed weekly.
~~~ This may take about 8 weeks to attain the correct position, thus, patience is very much needed especially for the family who brings over the children with Clubfoot.
~~~ The earlier the treatment, the possibility of shorter casting time.

* TENOTOMY (through Philhealth)

Scar is the little dot at the back of each ankle

~~~ Achilles Tenotomy intends to release the tight Tendon of Achilles so the feet can position properly. 
~~~ Since tenotomy is a very minor surgery, the little dot at the back of each ankle is the trace of Tenotomy and sometimes, the scar is almost no longer seen like in the next photo.

Can you see the scar in this little kid? He underwent tenotomy about a year ago.

* FREE BRACING AND BRACES

FOOT ABDUCTION BRACE

~~~ The Foot Abduction Brace intends to keep the feet in normal position, thus prevent relapse (VERY IMPORTANT!).
~~~ For the FIRST THREE MONTHS, wear braces 23 hours a day everyday
~~~ AFTER THREE MONTHS, during naps and sleep up to 5 years old
