Lantaka Hotel by the Sea is known for its historical ambience, innovative interior decor and also for the sumptuous food and food presentation.
We had guests for the Fiesta and we had lunch at the Vio Bar of the Lantaka Hotel. Incidentally, it was also a birthday celebration.
I really initially thought the name of the Bar is the View Bar rather than Vio Bar because the view in itself is its come on.
The Vio Bar has three levels, thus, Al and I got some photos from the second level.
also good to take photos from the second level... |
Here is our feast. Of course, there are lots of other choices!
... And our salad bar...
... And mixed fruits...
... And the tasty Durian Tart and Cassava with Cheese.
The view is also breath-taking.
One this side is the view of the Port of Zamboanga, the Great and Little Sta. Cruz Islands and also Basilan in the horizon.

On the other window, we see Paseo Del Mar.
Here are zoom in images of the Paseo del Mar from this vantage point.
We also went up the second level just for a change. We could also eat here... or just chat... or take a few drinks...
And at the third level is a small nook with a sofa!
we see a glimpse of the Fort Pilar at the other side of the colorful buntings |
we now see many construction projects ... |
on the site will soon arise a dancing fountain as added attraction! |
these are the newer restaurants... |
It is really amazing that a beautiful park replaced the previous slums... a perfect scene from the View Bar! |
With a videoke at the second level... and a cozy sofa at the third level |
We could also do some Videoke at this level!
The unique set-up of the Vio Bar makes the most of the available space in this area, and actually turned it into a beautiful function room for an intimate group of about 30 people.
Very interesting bar this is...THE VIO BAR, which is a VIEW BAR indeed!
... Love the breathtaking views we see!!!
