CMZ BRAngay 11: RURAL IMPROVEMENT CLUB

The Office of the City Agriculturist and the Gender & Development (through City Human Resource Management Office) of Zamboanga City sponsored this Rural Improvement Club Congress and invited the Ciudad Medical Zamboanga Breast Wellness Center for a Breast Cancer Awareness lecture by Dr. Filipinas Rojo, Breast Self-Examination demonstration by Ms. Watchel Basilio and Ms. Charlene Francisco and the Clinical Breast Examination by the CMZ BRAngay BREAST Team.

This was held at the Orchid Ballroom of the Garden Orchid Hotel last May 14, 2015.

This is a very interesting gathering since there were representatives from closer barangays as well as far-flung rural barangays from Tictapul, Tigbalabag, Dita, Lubigan, Mangusu, Buenavista among others. The representatives are farmers and farmers' wives since this Rural Improvement Club caters to the families of farmers.

Here are representatives from Kawit, Maasin and Sta. Maria.

There were representatives from San Roque, Cabaluay, Mampang, Boalan and Baliwasan. 

The Rural Improvement Clubs from Lamisahan, Tigbalabag, Cabaluay, Mampang, Boalan and Baliwasan.

Here are representatives from Dita, Lubigan, Buenavista and Bunguiao.

Here are representatives from Lumayang, Putik, Divsoria and Upper Calarian.

We encouraged them to share our advocacy with their other community members.
