It is Ciudad Medical Zamboanga's tradition to give tokens to our patients for special occasions such as Christmas and Valentine's Day!

This was a very rewarding day... to see the patients and families so surprised and happy!

The smiles on their faces were a joy to behold!

And so nice to meet these young enthusiastic ADZU students, too, who were also so excited in this new experience to go around the hospital with gifts to bring!

In the beautiful Paseo Del Mar in Zamboanga City, the City Government of Zamboanga displays the Ciudad Medical Zamboanga Bra to Raise Awareness Installation Art, which is conceptualized by Zamboanga international artist, Rameer Tawasil.

The Ciudad de Zamboanga B.R.E.A.S.T. (Bra to Raise Early Awareness for Screening and Treatment) Installation Art, as the BRA is called, was unveiled last March 21, 2014 and was transferred to the Paseo Del Mar last May 14, 2014. The Ciudad B.R.E.A.S.T. will continue to be displayed until December 31, 2014.

The beautiful decorated bras making up the Installation Art were contributed by the CMZ workforce and from the Zamboanga community as well as from friends and family from other places in the Philippines and from abroad! The bras come as far as Brunei, Holland, Singapore, Italy and the USA.

In time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the CMZ BRA continues to be an icon for the advocacy as well as a symbol of optimism for Zamboanga City!

Also in Paseo Del Mar is the musically gyrating dancing fountain, which attracts the young and old alike.

CMZ Teaser is based on an AVP done in 2011 by Cinesur as CMZ was on its eighth year, when CMZ was conferred Center of Quality by PhilHealth. CMZ takes much pride in this because it is Ciudad Medical who got the first and only PhilHealth Center of Quality in Region IX.

CMZ BELEN MAKING CONTEST 2013

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!
Amidst the commercialization of Christmas, let us look back into one of the most meaningful symbols of Christmas... the CHRISTMAS CRIB... or the Nativity Scene or the Filipinos' BELEN... as this symbolizes Jesus' birth!

In today's gospel, the BELEN is the symbol of CONVERGENCE... of the rich and poor... of the powerful and powerless... the old and the young... the ancient and the modern... and CONVERGENCE OF THE FAMILY!

I look back to 2013 on my story about the different BELENS created by the Ciudad Medical Zamboanga workforce as the symbol of this CONVERGENCE!

Ciudad Medical Zamboanga celebrated Christmas with a Belen Making Contest 2013!

I just want to share the different expressions of the Belen as created by the CMZ staff using the Dayami as well as native and recycled materials.

We are so happy that this contest instills friendly competition, unity and most of all their artistic talent and innovation!
