April 15, 2016
This April 15, 2016, we were so excited to have our 32nd BRAngay Project at the Philippine National Police Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) at Camp Col. Romeo Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City under Regional Director PCSupt. Miguel Cabanatan Antonio Jr.
We were welcomed by PSSupt. Atty. Sofronio Palana Ecaldre, Chief of the Regional Police Community Relation. We were touched by his story that his wife is a Breast Cancer survivor herself and, thus, he recognizes the value of ''Early Detection and Treatment save lives!"
We proceeded to the Lecture Hall where a lot of policewomen were waiting for us including the new policewomen in training.
Lecture on Breast Cancer Awareness by Dr. Filipinas Rojo
Breast Self-Examination was explained and demonstrated by Ms. Watchel Basilio, CMZ MRI Nurse

The ''I CAN SERVE" Video on Sariling Salat sa Suso (SSS or Breast Self Exam) with host: Dawn Zulueta was also presented to the participants.
A very touching and meaningful part of the program was the sharing from the Breast Cancer Survivor who is also one of their colleagues.
