Ciudad Medical Zamboanga acquires the Siemens Magnetom Essenza 1.5 Tesla MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), which is a lightweight 1.5 MRI Tesla system but belongs to the superconductor MR family.
This is the first 1.5 Tesla MRI in the whole Mindanao which started its operations last October 2012. Other MRIs in Mindanao are permanent magnets and usually have field strengths of less than 0.5 Tesla.
